The full IELTS mock test: all four sections back to back under real exam conditions, with real timings and a final band score. 100% free, no sign-up.
This page runs the full IELTS mock test online, free and with no sign-up. You sit the four sections in the real exam order and with the real timings: Listening (about 30 minutes, four recordings, 40 questions), Reading (60 minutes, three passages, 40 questions), Writing (60 minutes, Task 1 and Task 2) and Speaking (about 12 minutes, three parts with an AI examiner). The content is built for IELTS Academic; before the Reading section you can switch to General Training mode, and the Listening band uses the scale that applies to both. Listening and Reading are marked automatically against the answer key, Writing and Speaking are assessed by the AI on the four official criteria, and at the end you get an estimated band for each section and an overall band. If you close the tab, the mock is remembered on this device and you can continue it from this page.
You will move through the four sections in the real exam order. Each section keeps its own timer.
1. Listening
2. Reading
3. Writing
4. Speaking
Plan for about 3 hours in one sitting, like the real test. You get an estimated band for each section and overall.
About 2 hours 45 minutes of test time: Listening about 30 minutes, Reading 60, Writing 60, Speaking about 12. Plan for about 3 hours in one sitting.
The Writing and Speaking content is built for IELTS Academic (Task 1 describes a graph, chart or table). Before Reading you choose Academic or General Training; in General Training mode the result carries a note that the real scale is stricter at the same raw score. The Listening scale is the same for both.
The Quick Mock Test is a shorter slice of the four sections in about 50 minutes; this page is the full-length exam. How each section is scored and when the result appears is explained on the mock test with instant results page.
