Short version: ParrotTalk gives you an AI-estimated IELTS band score for practice purposes only. It is not an official IELTS result and cannot be used for visa, university, or immigration applications. ParrotTalk is an independent, unofficial tool. It is not affiliated with IELTS, the British Council, IDP, or Cambridge Assessment English.

ParrotTalk is a free, independent IELTS exam-preparation simulator. You can use it without creating an account or registering. It provides mock Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking tests, with AI-generated feedback and an estimated band score to help you practice.
All band scores and feedback are generated by a third-party AI model (Google Gemini) and are estimates only. They may vary from an official IELTS examiner's assessment by approximately ±0.5 to 1 band. ParrotTalk gives no guarantee of accuracy, and estimated scores must never be treated as, or submitted in place of, an official IELTS Test Report Form.
ParrotTalk is an independent, unofficial preparation tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected in any way to IELTS, the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia, or Cambridge Assessment English. "IELTS" and related marks are the property of their respective owners and are used on this site only for nominative/descriptive reference to the exam format being practiced.
ParrotTalk is currently in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The service may contain bugs, may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
To keep the service free and sustainable, usage limits apply (a daily limit on evaluations per user and an overall monthly cap on AI processing). Requests may be temporarily refused once these limits are reached.
You agree not to submit illegal, abusive, or harmful audio or text through ParrotTalk's Speaking or Writing features. You are responsible for the content of your own submissions. We may restrict or block access in cases of abusive use (automated/excessive requests, attempts to bypass usage limits, etc.).
ParrotTalk relies on third-party providers (hosting, API proxy, AI evaluation, analytics) to operate. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of sub-processors and how your data is handled.
ParrotTalk is published by an individual on a non-commercial, free basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher cannot be held liable for any damages, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the site, reliance on AI estimated scores, or any service interruption.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of ParrotTalk after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by French law, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply in the country where you reside.
